Ex Hex

Wake Forest Innovation Quarter is proud to partner with Phuzz Phest, Winston-Salem’s premier music festival, for a special evening of music and the inaugural show at our brand new stage in Bailey Park. The show will take place on Friday, April 17 at 7pm featuring music by Ex Hex, Mac McCaughan and Daddy Issues, as well as local goods vendors and a Bandito Burrito food truck. As an incentive for Innovation Quarter employees, Phuzz Phest is offering tickets to the Bailey Park show for $15, in contrast to the festival’s regular $25 Friday night pass. These tickets may be purchased with your Innovation Quarter ID badge at Reanimator, just down the street on Patterson Avenue behind Krankies coffee.

Critically-acclaimed rock trio Ex Hex (Mary Timony of Helium) headline the Bailey Park stage riding a year of universal praise for their debut album Rips (Merge Records, 2014). Joining them on the bill are Mac McCaughan, frontman of Superchunk and co-founder of Merge Records, and fun Greensboro vintage-pop upstarts Daddy Issues. The show is family-friendly and all ages, come join us on the lawn to inaugurate our beautiful new stage!

Phuzz Phest’s 5th annual music festival is April 17-19, presenting 60+ bands from a wide range of genres at venues across downtown Winston-Salem. For more information about Phuzz Phest, visit PhuzzPhest.com
